GLR Week 2023
July 17-21
GLR Week 2023 is now in the rear-view mirror. We are grateful for everyone who registered, attended, spoke and, in many other ways, helped to make this event a success! Fourteen participating states, including the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands, stepped up to organize and host 11 events and three engagement efforts/campaigns during GLR Week 2023. Three additional state leads promoted participation in other state events.
These webinars, documentary screenings, panel discussions, and engagement campaigns were well attended and well received, engaging more than 1,470 attendees from 46 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The week-long collection of state-focused, constituency-tilted and plenary events affirmed “bright spots and silver linings” as a more-than-mantra strategy through which promising explorations, discoveries, innovations, and improvisations prompted by the pandemic are recruited to play catalytic roles in accelerating equitable learning recovery.
We hope you enjoyed the conversations and had a chance to share your “bright spots and silver linings” insights, lessons learned, and updates and progress reports on the great work that has happened this past year. Beyond GLR Week, we hope you will continue to engage with us and each other through CGLR’s newly launched Learning and Engagement Opportunities (LEO) microsite and Community Learning for Impact and Improvement Platform (CLIP).
With so many excellent offerings, many of us missed one or more of the sessions we wanted to attend. Please visit the GLR Week 2023 Program Page or the LEO microsite to access recordings for each session, along with all accompanying materials.
We look forward to continuing the conversation with you.
